For Joey's surprise 35th, I decided to make Muppet Cupcakes for him based on an image he sent me a while ago of a bakery in the UK that did them. I pre-made PBJ cupcakes and over then next couple days, became Rachel's humble apprentice and learned that with a lot of sugar, you can make pretty much anything. She homemade marzipan and made the first one (Rolf) at home and from then on, there was no stopping us.
Gonzo nose on a cupcake.
Sugar High.
Completed Gonzo.
I think the Beakers were my fav. I still giggle every time I see them.
We were having issues trying to figure out Kermit but decided to move on.
The last night, I finally figured the little green man out...
Finished product to go into hiding for the big reveal.
They came out awesome and I could not have done it with out Rachel's help. I owe you big time!!!!
Happy Birthday, darling. I hope you enjoyed it

Had a dream recently that my muse came to visit me... started getting lots of ideas for paintings, and yes I started writing them down and sketching them out. Now I just have to DO it...

You're welcome. They were fun to do. I didn't think all of them would be eaten! Guess I'll have to make them again, huh?
