I am beyond humbled and proud that I was able to help some friends in their fundraising efforts for adoption this evening. I donated an art piece I made back in my senior year of high school. It was a collage based on a painting of mother and child by Mary Cassat. I never thought about selling it but thought it suited the situation well and didn't have time to try to create domething new. It was very well received and I got lots of complements. The first bid was $100 and by the time I left for the evening, it was $200. I had a good time catching up with old friends and new. And the band, The Ghost Project, was amazing as well.

Had a dream recently that my muse came to visit me... started getting lots of ideas for paintings, and yes I started writing them down and sketching them out. Now I just have to DO it...
