Steampunk Hearts

Well, I finally got around to opening the clay - thank you again Adam. I used the set of gears I ordered from the site of the idea and a couple other found items including floral wire and staples which worked nicely for tacking the gears down.

I think they turned out pretty well. I like the smaller spiral one the best.

Puppies

We decided to decorate the babies room (regardless of the sex) in Curious George. We can make it more feminine if needed and yellow is a pretty neutral sexed color. I wanted to create a picture from the book Curious George and the puppies of the last page where he is petting a dog:
But sit in our 2 girls in place of the other dog he was petting. It was hard to find existing pictures that worked and then try to put a filter on them so they looked more like drawings than photographs. Here is what I came up with so far:

I need to work on them some more, the cutout filter decided not to cooperate with me over the remote desktop connection, so I'll have to wait until I get home so I can troubleshoot it.
